Jim Grogan Bird Artist

A local wildlife bird artist, known to many as the "Audubon of Detroit.''  As a Detroit resident living in the Cultural Center for over 25 years, my work has been showcased in galleries across Michigan.​  My bird art is distinctive and appeals to a wide audience. Specializing in Birds of North America, I strive to show the elegance of these magnificent feathered creatures. The medium used is colored pencils and pastels. By combining delicate pencil strokes and brilliant hues, I celebrate my subjects by making them extremely life-like and animated. My bird cards are special because they are produced on a small scale and not found anywhere else.  I love the beauty of nature and have a passion for drawing birds!
